DeMaestri signs on in Germany

The Benslips Basket Salzkotten in Germany signed US sharpshooter Jay DeMaestri (198-F-84, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement, college: Hawaii-Hilo) to a contract for current season.
In his first game for the 1. Regionalliga West club, DeMaestri scored 31 Points and grabbed 13 Rebounds in a big win over BG Hagen.
The former UH-Hilo (NCAA 2) forward started the season with BBC Cottbus in the 2. Regionalliga North-East and averaged 19.3ppg and 10.3rpg in 3 games for the White Devils.
