The University of Hawaii at Hilo dropped a Pacific West Conference match to Dixie State College 3-1 on Amauulu Field in Hilo, Hawaii.
The Vulcans are 3-8-4 overall and 2-4-3 in the PacWest while the conference-leading Red Storm is 11-3 overall and 10-0 in the PacWest.
Alysia Salvador connected with Emily Lambert for the Vulcan score. Catching the pass on her chest, Lambert turned and fired the shot on goal…untouched.
Shanna Brown had another outstanding day in the goal with nine saves.
