Vulcans Silence Red Storm

The University of Hawaii at Hilo found its offense as they beat Dixie State College 4-0 in a Pacific West Conference match on Amauulu Field in Hilo, Hawaii.

The Vulcans improved to 7-8 overall and 6-3 in the PacWest while the Red Storm are 5-8-1 overall and 3-7 in the PacWest.

The Vulcans had its highest offensive output of the year as they tallied 14 shots on goal and 24 shots overall along with 10 corner kicks.

Jeremy Adams got the ball rolling off of a foul kick that glanced off a Red Storm player and got by the goalie.

Eduardo Gutierrez and Luis Segovia passed the ball around before finding Vinnie Muscarella behind the goalie for a straight shot.

Gabe Kallen-Brown showed his quick feet in beating two defenders and the goalie for his goal.

Gary Diego got the final goal as Go Eto pushed the ball into the middle for Diego’s shots.
