The University of Hawaii at Hilo and Notre Dame de Namur University played to a double-overtime 1-1 tie in a Pacific West Conference match on Amauulu Field in Hilo, Hawaii.
The Vulcans are 3-7-4 overall and 2-3-3 in the PacWest while the Argonauts are 5-8-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the PacWest.
In the evenly played match, the teams were nearly stat-for-stat with the Vulcans holding the edge on corner kicks (6-4) and saves (9-7) and the Argonauts in shots (20-15) and fouls (12-13).
The Vulcans didn’t score a goal in the contest. Emily Lambert’s corner kick went off of an Argonaut at the 17.22 mark of the game to give the Vulcans the lead.
Nearly 40 minutes later, an Argonaut crossing header knotted the game at one.
