Cabico in third at SSU Invitational

Neil Cabico fired a 3-under-par 69 to stand in third place at the rain-shortened first day of the Sonoma State University Invitational and lead the Vulcans to 9th place in the team standing.
Cabico fired a 1-under-par 35 on the front nine and turned in a 2-under-par 34 on the back nine on the 6,711-yard, par-72 Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club in Santa Rosa, Calif.
Tied in 10th place is Logan Goulding at 1-over-par 73 (34-39). Also in the field are Christopher Armanini (T49, 77), Kelii Dias (T62, 80) and Ryan Felix (T62, 80).
