The University of Hawaii at Hilo beat Chaminade University 4-0 in a Pacific West Conference match at the Central Oahu Regional Park.

The Vulcans improved to 3-5-1 overall and 2-1 in the PWC while the Silverswords are 0-6 and 0-3.

“It was one of our better games because we connected really well,” UHH head coach Cam Camarena said. “Looks like we’re really jelled with Lynn [DuPont] coming back. With Lynn at halfback we could move Gina [Tumasone] on top and now that gives us some offense.”

Emily Lambert got the Vulcans scoring with a penalty kick early in the game. Lambert also partook in the next two scores with assists to Gina Tumasone and Taylor Allen.

Nathalie Palacios scored an unassisted goal to end the Vulcans scoring…all in the first half.
