Denise Holloway joined the University of Hawaii at Hilo athletic training staff on August 17, 2009.

Holloway was the head athletic trainer at Miami Middleton University (OH) since July 2007. She served as a graduate athletic trainer at Wright State University and as a student intern at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Education (2005) and Master of Education (2007) from Wright State.

Hollaway is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (2006) and is a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association (2004). She is a certified CPR Instructor for the American Hear Association.
