Brian Suskiewicz
Brian Suskiewicz joined the University of Hawaii at Hilo soccer coaching staff on August 1, 2009.
Suskiewicz had been with the Hofstra University men's soccer program since 2004. In 2007, he was named associate head coach. During his tenure, Hofstra was a part of consecutive conference championships and NCAA post-season appearances (2004-06).
At Bucknell University (2001-04), Suskiewicz assisted in the program's first undefeated Patriot League regular season (2003) and a 1-0 win over the nation's second-ranked Division I team. The program set a school record for most wins over a two-year period with 24 (2002-03) and also a school record for wins with 13 in 2002.
His collegiate coaching career started in 2000 at NCAA Division III Washington & Lee University as an assistant on a squad which finished with a 19-2 record, a conference championship and an appearance in the NCAA Regional championship game. The team was ranked 8th in the final D III poll.
Suskiewicz also coached the Long Island United U-12 (2007-09) and the Long Island Junior Soccer League Olympic Development U-17 Program (2005-06).
He received his Bachelor of Arts in History-Honors Program (1998) and Masters in Education (2000) from Boston College.
Suskiewicz holds a USSF "A" License (Jan. 2006), an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma (May 2002) and an NSCAA Goalkeeper Level II certification (Jan. 2004).
